**Purpose of the Clinical Lead role**
The Clinical Lead is responsible for planning, leading, monitoring and evaluating the delivery of clinical services by frontline operations and clinical staff through the provision of leadership, support and coaching on the development of client individual plans and clinical supports in keeping with the NDIS Commission Quality and Safeguards Framework and NDIS provider registration requirements.

**Role Responsibilities**:This is a permanent full-time role, based in North Ryde the ability to travel across Greater Sydney.
- Provide advice and input to the Clinical Governance and Practice Manager on the development and implementation of systems, policies and procedures and continuous improvement initiatives to meet governance, quality management and client safety requirements.
- Lead a team of clinicians (Regional Registered Nurses) and be responsible and accountable for the leadership of team strategy and delivery of work to attract, develop and retain top clinical talent by setting clear goals and driving performance to key results.
- Contribute to the development of a culture of clinical excellence across the business in collaboration with the Clinical Governance and Practice Manager.
- Lead the implementation of a Clinical Supervision Framework to ensure a high standard of clinical practice and performance across clinical service delivery, to support full potential in a complex mobile/remote workforce environment.
- Providing analysis and presenting data on key quality indicators to manage client clinical risks and guide initiatives and strategies to improve client health outcomes.
- Leading initiatives to improve client health outcomes under the guidance of the Clinical Governance and Practice Manager.
- Provide clinical advice, guidance and support to Service Managers and Coordinators.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- Tertiary qualification in Nursing and current AHPRA Registration
- Sound clinical knowledge and skill base and demonstrated ability to lead and model evidence-based best practice.
- Demonstrated commitment to the care and safeguarding of vulnerable people.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build relationships, lead, influence, and collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in implementing evidence informed practice models and systems to improve services.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulations governing the Disability sector and related issues.
- Experience in quality management standards, accreditation, governance, audit and compliance in the disability, health, aged care or community services sector.
