Daycare Attendants with flexible availability Monday to Friday, approximately 10-25 hours per week. We are open 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday for daycare.

**About The Company**

The Pet Pad is a boutique pet retail store, pet spa with dog daycare located in Newstead and has been in operation for over 18 years. We love to pamper pets and educate their owners at the same time.

We are looking for applicants who can follow instructions clearly, let their personalities shine and who are willing to put in a little effort and show they are really excited to work at The Pet Pad.

**Duties and responsibilities - Dog Daycare Assistant**
- Supervising and managing dogs and their interactions
- Forming a bond with each dog, getting to know the different personalities and how to act accordingly.
- Learning and understanding any basic medical issues and how to work with any constraints that these issues may present.
- Creating and implementing new enrichment activities & following daily schedules
- Maintaining and cleaning our equipment
- Providing a hygienic and safe environment at all times - LOTS AND LOTS OF CLEANING
- Follow our policies and procedures and report to senior staff as necessary
- May include some reception duties

**Skills & Experience**

No experience? That’s OK We are happy to train you if you have the right attitude towards the job.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends
