**Role Description/Criteria**

An exciting opportunity exists to join our vibrant learning community here at St. Dominic’s School Broadmeadows. We are seeking to employ either a Visual Arts or Performing Arts teacher who has a passion for learning and teaching in a richly diverse and compassionate Catholic community. This is a part time fixed term (12 month) position to be worked on a Monday and Tuesday.

The successful applicant will be required to:

- Actively demonstrate commitment to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in their care
- Support of the Catholic Identity of the school
- Build and maintain positive respectful relationships with students, colleagues and parents
- Provide effective differentiated teaching to encourage creativity and to engage all students in deep learning
- Show enthusiasm and a willingness to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

St. Dominic’s is a Child Safe School and is committed to the ongoing safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.

Special requirements:

- Accreditation to teach in a Catholic School
- Current VIT registration
