Located in one of most posh suburbs of Sydney, Garcon Bakery is a concept French bakery offering freshly prepared, ultra-modern delicacies to appease your taste buds.

We are seeking to employ at least two skilled Bakers on a full-time basis at Tramshed NSW with a remuneration offer of $65,000 to $75,000 per annum.

You must be a highly skilled culinary professional responsible for the preparation, baking, and presentation of various baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and other confectionery items. You must possess at least Certificate IV in Baking or culinary arts, or equivalent experience. The job is open to Australian Residents and overseas professionals.

Main responsibilities:

- Preparing, baking, and producing pastries, breads, cakes, rolls, crepes, and desserts.
- Using scales. graded containers, measures, weighs flour or other materials to make batters, doughs, fillings, or whipped cream.
- Decorating baked items such as cream pies, cakes, and pastries
- Adjusting the timing and speed settings for mixing or blending equipment so that the components are mixed or cooked according to the recipe.
- Preparing custom-made pastries and cakes based on the preferences of customers
- Preparing garnishes for baked items as required
- Recommending recipes to refresh our menu and make suggestions to improvise offerings
- Minimising wastage by calculating/ordering/utilising proper quantities and rotating products.
- Utilising adequate quantities and rotating products to keep spoilage/waste to a minimum.
- Cleaning, dismantling, and storing all baking equipment, including, ovens, mixers, proofer, floors, freezer, and refrigerators.
- Ensuring an appropriate supply of all prepared products as well as proper storage and refrigeration.
- Ensure food and hygiene compliance, and report any incidents as appropriate
- Train and mentor junior bakery staff in preparation, mixing and presentation

**Salary**: $46,521.76 - $76,608.61 per year
