- **PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION**_
- Ensure clients are consulted to exercise greater choice and control.
- Delivery of high-quality services that assists people with Disability to reach their goals
and ensure service standards are met.
- Achieving true community connection for the client by supporting them with inclusion
within their local community.
- To effectively provide the client, their family and/or guardian with skills and services that
allows the client to participate in the community as independently as possible.
- **QUALIFICATIONS AND LICENCES**_
Minimum Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), Aged Care or similar OR willing to
undertake study within a reasonable time frame
- Current drivers licence, car registration & comprehensive insurance
- Valid Police check, dated within the last 3 months
- Valid Working with Children Check, dated within the last 3 months
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- **POSITION RELATED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**_
- **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**_
- Ensure the business is well-resourced, minimise staff shortages, and ensure all participants
receive scheduled services and high-quality care in line with their plans.
- Ensure participant privacy is protected and that all service procedures, policies, and
regulatory requirements are followed, with accurate documentation maintained for
medical, dietary, and support plans.
- Oversee daily documentation and maintain regular communication with Support Workers,
reporting any risks to participants or the organisation.
- Ensure all staff complete required training (WHS, Manual Handling, Medication, Infection
Control) on commencement and adhere to ongoing professional development.
- Ensure all rostered shifts are covered and staff adhere to the organisation’s Employee Code
of Conduct and professional standards.
- Assist with the On Call phone on a roster for a minimum of one week at a time
- Any other reasonable duties as varied from time to time, that are in scope of the employee’s
position and are reflective of their skills and abilities.
Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
