**Role Description/Criteria**

St Francis of Assisi Primary School is seeking an experienced teacher who is innovative, knowledgeable and highly skilled in helping each student achieve their greatest potential. The enhancement teacher role is to support students through intervention and extension programs to grow the learning of all students. Applicants will possess the skills and abilities to promote high expectations for all, embrace a collaborative approach to learning and teaching, and demonstrate their contribution to the ongoing development of our learning community.

The position is negotiable in relation to time allocation (full-time or part-time).

St Francis of Assisi Primary School is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.

Applicants are asked to demonstrate:

- an ability to develop and maintain respectful and caring relationships with students, families and colleagues
- an ability to support children through school intervention programs such as MacqLit, MiniLit etc an advantage
- an understanding of evidence based best practice and high impact teaching strategies
- an ability to work collaboratively in a team
- a capacity to use data to make informed decisions about learning and teaching
- a working knowledge of PBL an advantage
