**Role Responsibilities**:

- Direct teaching of both groups and individual students.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Biology curriculum.
- Undertake other classroom teaching and organizational duties as directed by the School Principal.
- Participate in activities such as parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps, and excursions.

**Qualifications and Attributes**:

- Diploma Qualified in Education
- Knowledge of the Victorian Secondary curriculum
- VIT certified
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a friendly, professional and cooperative manner with students and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with relational ability, flexibility, creativity and organisation
- Creative and innovative approach to lesson planning and delivery.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Enthusiasm for contributing to the school's extracurricular activities.
