Are you a highly skilled Sitecore developer with a strong background in the defence industry? We're seeking a talented Sitecore Lead Developer to join our team at a top-tier digital agency known for delivering exceptional results in the defence sector.**About Role**:
As a Sitecore Lead Developer at our rapidly growing digital agency, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding digital solutions for our defence industry clients. Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals while leading the development and implementation of Sitecore-based projects that are both engaging and effective.**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Sitecore-based projects for clients in the defence industry
- Manage a team of developers, providing technical guidance and mentoring to ensure best practices and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, strategists, and project managers, to create exceptional digital experiences
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of the team's work
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting client expectations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Sitecore features, industry trends, and defence sector requirements to drive innovation and continuous improvement
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Sitecore implementation and performance

**Required Skills**:

- Extensive experience with Sitecore development, including a deep understanding of the Sitecore architecture and API
- Proven track record of leading and managing development teams on Sitecore projects, preferably in the defence sector
- Strong experience with ASP.NET, C#, MVC, and other relevant technologies
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design
- Proficiency in integrating third-party systems and APIs with Sitecore
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities

**Preferred Skills**:
- Sitecore certification(s)
- Experience with Sitecore Helix principles and implementation
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum and Jira
- Prior experience working on projects in the defence industry
