Rubix Solutions is a boutique recruitment company working for some of the biggest blue chip clients globally. Our client, a leading IT consultancy are looking to hire a Service delivery manager with a NV1, based in Canberra.

An outstanding opportunity has presented itself for a talented Service Delivery Manager (SDM) to lead a small but rapidly expanding team of over 13 individuals in maintaining a complex and crucial business integration system. As the head of the sustainment team, your primary focus will be on serving the customer, as well as overseeing the team's engagement with other stakeholders in the environment. You should be a seasoned people leader, demonstrating your success in resolving conflicts and bringing out the best in your team members.

A crucial aspect of this role is the management and reporting of the team's performance against agreed upon service levels and performance indicators. With ideal experience in managing incidents and technical changes following ITIL processes, you will exercise tight control over the team's governance, including compliance with contract requirements, workload management, and guiding the team towards continuous service improvement in an organized and measured manner.

The position demands a strong and collaborative approach to balancing the demands of the sustainment contract with the needs of the customer. You should be flexible in adapting to changing business scenarios while upholding the integrity of the service contract. Your team should look to you as a model of responsible customer focus.

**Key Requirements**:

- Technical leadership experience
- Service level reporting and management
- ITIL proficiency
- Expertise in stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and requirements gathering - Basic knowledge of contract management
- Familiarity with financial management

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Hands-on technical background in complex ICT systems
- Incident, problem, and change management experience
- Project delivery management (formal or informal)
- Risk management skills
- Project planning and scheduling experience
- Agile project management methodology.

**NV1 Australian security clearance is required to be held and maintained**
