**What You Will Be Doing**

The Junior Career Medical Officer role is designed to provide appropriate exposure and clinical experience to junior doctors who are not currently enrolled in a specific Australian training pathway.

Their rotations may be at HMO/resident or junior registrar level depending on their prior clinical experience. Within the Department of Medicine rotations may be available in subspecialties or General medicine.

The Junior Career Medical Officer will provide appropriate medical care commensurate with their capabilities and be under the supervision of more experienced medical staff at Registrar and Consultant level.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- MBBS or equivalent
- Eligible for registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
- Satisfactory completion of a recognised Intern year (PGY1) or Foundation Years (1 and/or 2)
