**Echo Marine Group **is an Australian owned and operated company with over 10 years experience in the Marine Industry. We specialize in the manufacture of Luxury Superyachts and Commercial Workboats. We also carry out maintenance on a full range of vessels in the Superyacht, Workboat and Defence areas.

Due to the increased workload and new upcoming projects, we are looking for enthusiastic and proactive individuals to join our Engineering Team. So if you are looking for full time employment and have the necessary skills of a Pipe Fitter, or Hydraulic Fitter we would love to hear from you

**The Position**:

- Installation of machinery and piping systems into vessels under construction or during maintenance/refit works.
- Fabrication of piping systems to be installed into vessels, being worked on at Echo Marine.
- Installation of marine power plants, shafting and auxiliary systems (**Note no engine mechanical works** is carried out by Echo Marine).

**EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS**:
To be successful for this position, you must ideally possess some of the following skills:

- Marine Fitting experience preferred however, aligned trades including hydraulic or sprinkler installers will also be considered
- Be able to read and understand drawings to construct systems and equipment into vessels under construction or maintenance
- Pipe fabrication including working with stainless and copper nickel.
- TIG Welding skills, with thin wall tube (1.5mm) experience would be an advantage.
- Manual tube bending and flaring of tube up to 32mm in diameter.
- Previous experience in hydraulics would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of marine supply, servicing and components is preferable
- Work fast, accurately and safely
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, with strong work ethics with an eye for detail and quality workmanship
- Transfer of knowledge to apprentices / trainees in construction methods of boat systems
- To ensure work is carried out in a safe manner as to prevent injury to oneself and others
- Own reliable transport. (Public Transport not available)

**CULTURE & BENEFITS**:
In return for your skills and experience, **Echo Marine Group** can offer an annual salary from $74,000 excluding super and penalties, based on a four day week. Monday to Thursday are normal working days, with potential for overtime as required.
