We currently have an opportunity for a full time Cleaner. Join our team and play a key role in managing the delivery of support services critical to maintaining the integrity of the hospital's operations. Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

**What You’ll Do (key responsibilities)**

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

- Complete patient room Discharge & Terminal cleaning including making beds as required
- Complete department and ward-based “SuperCleans”
- Ensure approved waste handling procedures in accordance with guidelines
- Ensure that patient and staff confidentiality is maintained
- Other duties as directed by Cleaning Supervisor or other Downer Management

**What You’ll Bring (experience required)**
- Knowledge and understanding of basic cleaning techniques
- 1-5 years’ experience in healthcare related cleaning desirable
- Certificate II Cleaning or Health Support Services desirable
- Experience with commercial cleaning equipment desirable
- Confident, professional and well groomed
- Above Award rate dependant on skills and experience.
