We are currently looking for 2 new Retail Deli Assistants to help with the operation of our shop and factory in Carole Park. Our busy shop front sells a variety of gourmet products including smoked meat, cheese, pantry goods and premium fresh meat. We also serve coffee and sandwiches. The shop is open to the public from Monday to Friday (7am - 3pm) and Saturdays (7am - 1pm)
- The ability to work well in a team
- Punctual and reliable
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Must be available to work Saturdays
- Have own transportation due to location

Duties
- Serving customers and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the store
- Slicing deli meats and packing
- Stock control of the deli display units and shelf items
- Making sandwiches and coffee (Barista experience not essential)
- Answering the phone and taking orders, as well as prepping them for pick up
- Keeping work stations clean throughout the day and following food safety standards
- Providing customers with product knowledge and giving them a positive experience

Staff parking available on site and product discounts

Closed Sundays and Public Holidays

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour
