**What you’ll be doing**:

- providing in home support including preparation of meals, cleaning, personal care and more;
- assisting with participating in community activities/events of their interests;
- ensuring that the consumer’s dream, goals and abilities are promoted, developed and achieved;
- providing safe transport support to enable service users to access community and social activities;
- facilitating the development and maintenance of relationships with family, friends and service providers; and
- providing mentoring support.

**We are looking for people that**:

- can build a positive supportive relationship with the consumer;
- are committed to a person-centred approach in their work;
- are passionate about supporting people; and
- can speak multiple languages with a current need of Bosnian/Serbian, Karen/Burmese, Vietnamese and Auslan

**Things that matter to us**:

- certificate in individualised support (highly desirable);
- previous experience working in disability sector (highly desirable);
- ability to engage and work from a respective framework for people/families supported;
- an understanding and/or experience of the needs of people from CaLD backgrounds;
- valid WA driver’s license and a reliable private vehicle;
- hold COVID-19 vaccination certificate;
- hold or prepared to obtain an NDIS check; and
- ability to work independently and show initiative.
