Yard Worker

National scaffolding supply company based Hume, looking for experienced yard workers to join their team

**Your new company**

Your new company is a national scaffolding supply company that are looking for yard hands to join their small Canberra team. You will be based out of their Hume yard, working alongside 6-10 other workers.

**Your new role**

In this opportunity, you will be responsible for:

- General yard work such as cleaning and tidying.
- Picking and packing scaffolding to order.
- Processing returned scaffolding, cleaning, and maintaining it and putting it away.
- Operating a forklift when needed.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Previous experience as a yard worker is essential.
- A strong understanding of WHS work practices.
- A forklift licence is essential.
- A can-do attitude and willingness to help the wider team.

**What you'll get in return**

- Above award, weekly pay of $33 per hour, with all industry allowances.
- Potential to transfer to a permanent role after a probationary period
- Full time ongoing work, Monday to Friday.
