australia parramatta contract au$70 - au$75 per hourTalent International is currently recruitinf for an experienced **Project officer **to work on a Net Zero Transport **climate change project.** This position is a Hybrid opportunity working in either** Sydney CBD or Parramatta CBD and from home**. This is contract role **12-months contract with the view to be extended.** The role is paying **$75 per hour + Super.**

- 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week
- Location: Work from home with 1 day a week in office alternating between Parramatta and Elizabeth Street office (high degree of flexibility)

This is a very exciting opportunity to join the Net Zero Transport team supportingthe delivery of the NSW Electric Vehicle Strategy and the delivery of public EV charging infrastructure across NSW.

**About the role**:
The Project officer will be dedicated to supporting the delivery of the NSW EV fast charging program. The EV fast charging grants is a $149 million grants initiative over five years aimed at supporting industry to build, own and operate an extensive network of fast charging stations across NSW to support the uptake of EVs and unlock regional EV travel and journey enablement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Undertake a range of project management and support activities to contribute to the delivery of the program
- Undertake research and analysis to identify emerging issues and prepare recommendations to issues and/or inform new program activities
- Undertake aspects of project review to evaluate and provide sound advice and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of strategies, projects, programs and processes
- Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress and outcomes against established milestones and deliverables.
- Stakeholder engagement and management, both internally and externally
- Manage high value consultancy contracts and juggling multiple complex projects simultaneously

**Essential Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of operational requirements for successful delivery of sustainability, transport, energy, climate change, resilience, adaptation and/or net zero emissions programs
- Project management skills demonstrating the ability to deliver agreed outcomes on time, on budget, and to quality standards, and demonstrated time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion and ensure effectiveness, accountability and transparency
- Understanding of contract and/or grant management
- Knowledge of operational requirements for successful delivery of sustainability, transport, energy, climate change, resilience, adaptation and/or net zero emissions grants programs
- Passion and expertise working with renewable energy, energy efficiency, EVs
- Environmental science, sustainability or engineering disciplines with knowledge of energy and resource efficiency and/or net zero and/or renewable energy and/or transport decarbonisation solutions
