Snowy Hydro is a dynamic, integrated energy business that has been providing on-demand, reliable energy to Australia for over 70 years. Snowy Hydro owns and operates a powerful combination of generation assets, including the 4100-megawatt Snowy Mountains Scheme, gas and diesel plants and has recently contracted wind and solar energy.

**Position**
Corporate Environmental Advisor

Improve the environmental management and regulatory performance of the Company’s operations, extending our commercial capabilities through strong

engagement with internal customers and external stakeholders and authoritative technical advice

**Requirements**:

- Exceptional customer service and ability to develop effective working relationships with all levels of the workforce
- Degree / post graduate qualification in environmental or natural resource management discipline or equivalent
- 8 years of experience in an environmental advisory or natural resource management role
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment, manage well through ambiguity and complexity
- Highly developed influencing & negotiation skills
- Good commercial understanding to closely align performance with the business objectives
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory frameworks and experience managing environmental approval processes
- Highly developed skills in environmental auditing, incident investigation, and report writing
