**About the Role**
We are currently seeking caring, enthusiastic and professional **Disability Support Workers** to join our growing team.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide direct, one-on-one or group-based support to NDIS participants. Your role will focus on **supporting individuals to achieve their goals**, increase their independence, and participate in the community.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support participants with **community access**, including transport and companionship to:

- Medical appointments
- Shopping centres
- Recreational activities (e.g., gym, swimming, sports, cultural or faith-based events)
- Social outings (e.g., coffee catch-ups, library visits, events)
- Assist with **daily living skills**, such as:

- Cooking and meal preparation
- Cleaning and household tasks
- Personal hygiene and dressing
- Build positive, respectful relationships and encourage skill-building and independence
- Maintain clear and professional documentation (progress notes, incident reports)
- Implement individualised care and behaviour support plans
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and allied health professionals.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Ability to support clients independently and respond to individual needs
- Flexibility to work various shifts (including weekends and public holidays if needed)

**Essential Requirements**
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or related field
- Valid First Aid & CPR certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (if working with minors)
- COVID-19 Vaccination (as per public health requirements)
- Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle (highly preferred)
- Right to work in Australia

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 6 per week
