We have an opportunity for a motivated and pro-active person to be part of our Christmas Cheer team to assist the Warehouse Co-ordinator in the sorting, collection, storage and co-ordination of donated goods.
Christmas is meant to be a time of celebration and joy, but if times are tough it can be challenging and isolating.
We have an opportunity for a motivated and pro-active person to be part of our Christmas Cheer team to assist the Warehouse Co-ordinator in the sorting, collection, storage and co-ordination of donated goods.
This is a casual position and will be located at Minchinbury, Salvos Stores.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with Road Transport & Distribution Award (Distribution Facility employee) Level 3.- Experience in customer service or community services industries
- Proven experience in the recycling/transport industry would be highly desirable
- Valid NSW Driver’s license
- Self-motivation, high level of initiative and strong work ethic
- Sound communication skills (both oral and written) to be able to interact positively with a variety of people.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- A positive attitude, be a team player and flexible
- Customer service focus
- Solid level of computer literacy and basic bookkeeping
- People management skills with an emphasis on volunteers and the community.
- Sound presentation and communication skills (both oral and written) to be able to interact and network positively with a variety of people
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check-
