Join Vertical Scope Group (VSG) as we are now inviting expressions of interest for Expert, Trusted and Reputable Security Professionals at all levels of knowledge and experience from Defence Support Services (DSS) Levels 1-5 (Associate, Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner, Expert, Pre-eminent Advisor) to join our submission for a multi-year, Specialist Security Services panel.

We want high performing, highly experienced professionals that have backgrounds in Engineering, SCEC (Security Construction and Equipment Committee), Acoustic, Building and Specialist Security, that can work across the board to implement the next phase of Australia’s innovative solutions for Defence and National Security.

Vertical Scope Group is securing an experienced IRAP & Security Risk Assessors to join our award-winning Professional Services Division to be included in our submission. If successful, and if you are listed as a named consultant in our submission, VSG will always offer you first choice and opportunity of any work that is released to us.

As an IRAP or Security Risk Assessor, you will provide security risk assessments focussing on ensuring the safety and security of people, information, and assets. Security risk assessments must identify risks, assess existing controls, and propose additional treatments as required and in accordance with Commonwealth’s risk management frameworks and ISO 31000.

You will be responsible for:

- reporting on changes in the threat environment in a location,
- identification, assessment, analysis, and evaluation of key threat vectors, particularly around intent and capability both currently and how this could change and evolve in future,
- identification of assets to be protected, including a vulnerability analysis,
- identification, assessment, analysis, and evaluation of potential security risks,
- other services to support the protection of staff, information and assets against politically motivated violence, civil disorder, and crime threat vectors,
- assessment of existing controls to mitigate the risk,
- assessment of likelihood and consequence of particular risk events,
- identification of additional controls to treat vulnerabilities,
- provide written reports as required, and
- other security threat and risk assessments for domestic and international operations and accommodation

Ideally, you will also possess:

- suitable qualifications (InfoSec Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) accrediation, or other relevant qualifications).
- Baseline (min.) - TS PV security clearance desirable
- Australian Citizenship is essential
