**Synergy Group** has a large government client that is seeking multiple ict Security Assessors. These are long term contract opportunities.
Due to the nature of our clients business, they required Australian Citizenship to be considered with an active AGSVA Security clearance.

**Skills required**:

- Have a strong knowledge of the Australian Government Information Security Manual, Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework and ISO 27001
- Be experienced in the collection, presentation and analysis of information
- Have excellent report writing and communication skills;
- Possess a minimum of five years direct full-time information security or cybersecurity work experience;
- Have proven experience in the implementation of cybersecurity controls, including assessing the effectiveness of controls.
- Have proven experience with assessment and articulation of risk associated with ICT vulnerabilities to a non-technical audience.

**Highly Desirable Skills**:

- Hold credentials as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or a Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA).
- Be a certified assessor under the Information Security Recognised Assessor Program (IRAP), or have an equivalent level of demonstrated experience.
- Have strong knowledge of Large Government department Security Principles Framework.
