- Airborne LiDAR Systems (ALS) - Fixed-wing
- Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) - LiDAR and imagery
- Vehicle-based Mobile Laser Scanning (MLS)
- Wearable LiDAR and imagery or Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping (SLAM)
- Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS)
