
Workday Analyst, Absence

**The Opportunity**:
There are TWO positions Reporting to the Manager, Payroll Technology - Workday, one is Workday Analyst, Absence, and the second is Workday Analyst, Payroll. In both roles, you will be a vital member of our HR Technology team, primarily responsible for configuring and optimizing Workday's capabilities. Serving as a key contributor, this role is integral to supporting CSL's growth and ensuring the effective utilization of the Workday platform. These are a hybrid roles, which offer a combination of an onsite and remote work schedules. #LI-hybrid
**The Role**:
- End-to-End Solution Consulting in the Workday Absence or Workday Payroll modules.
- Assess current state processes, identify efficiencies, and implement changes adhering to CSL's Workday Change Control & Data Governance Processes.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including COEs and I&T, for Workday platform strategy and architecture.
- Conduct design sessions, gather and document end-user requirements, and prototype solutions based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with HR Technology and I&T testing leads on system changes, identifying test scenarios/use cases, and providing support during UAT.
- Manage Tier 3 cases, including proactive assessment of break-fix cases, identify and address trends to enhance system stability and user satisfaction.
- Drive the schedule and execution of routine activities and projects, including preparing and loading EIBs.
- Maintain global holiday absence calendars OR global payroll schedules.
- Backup support for Payroll OR Workday Absence and Kronos, as well as other Workday modules as needed.
**Your Skills and Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of Workday Configuration/Admin experience.
- 3+ years in HRIS Experience.
- Proven experience with configuring and optimizing Workday's Absence module.
- In-depth knowledge of HR workflows and absence management best practices.
- Outstanding skills in managing stakeholders, interpersonal interactions, and communication.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, demonstrating proficiency in analyzing, creating, and effectively communicating suitable solutions.
- Self-directed and able to manage changing priorities and expectations to align to business objectives.
