Nutrition Assistant

**About the role
The purpose of this position is to perform functions to support the Dietitian in clinical care of the patient within prescribed guidelines and established procedures, and to participate in quality improvement activities.
About you
To develop and maintain effective lines of communication and liaison with patients/carers, dietitians, speech pathologists, food service staff and nursing staff
To be involved in quality activities to ensure continuous improvement within the department
To participate in professional development including performance and development planning and educational activities
To comply with the requirements of workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination practices and behaviour in the work environment
Perform other delegated duties are requested by Nutrition and Dietetics staff members as allowed by testing guidelines and legislation
