Property Supervisor

Grace Lutheran College is seeking an enthusiastic property supervisor to join a leading school on the northside of Brisbane.
- Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the core responsibility of The Property Supervisor is to oversee the day-to-day property operations of the two college campuses, Rothwell and Caboolture, supervising property and grounds staff, scheduling repairs and maintenance, liaising with contractors to overseeing refurbishment projects and ensuring that facilities are safe and secure.

All works are to be effectively managed with respect to financial, environmental, safety, college operational and relevant regulatory and statutory considerations. A trade qualification would be advantageous with demonstrated supervisory experience essential.

**The Role**:
Supervise various operations and projects over the school campus’
Actively manage contractors onsite
Liaise with internal staff members, cleaning services and all departments
Coordinate with external stakeholders and management to ensure work is carried out carefully and efficiently to avoid any disruption to the school
Monitor and follow up the performance of all contractors to ensure the work has been done to standard and follows health and safety policies
Provide quotations and contractual agreements to contractors so they can carry out required work
Work with the team to produce reviews for management and work with budgets, maintenance and forecasts
Adhere to Work Health and Safety and Risk management policies and ensure the wider teams knows the policies
Oversee and assist coordinate capital works
Other duties as required
Previous experience working in a trade industry or similar
Experience in a facilities supervisor role or similar
Strong organisational and administration skills
Experience with managing a team
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly excel
Can do attitude, with a positive mindset
Previous experience within a school preferred but not essential
Working With Children Check required if successful
Great problem solving and communication skills
