**Horticulturist | Green Team Leader**

As part of the Green team, you are expected to engage with people and with customers deeply, peers and guests on all horticulture and related matters including educative. You are also expected to be sales and service focuses, fond of developing a strong relationship with the customers. Your knowledge and passion for plant will be used to contribute to the plant selection and recommendations to the buying team.

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Interacting with customers, helping and responding to queries about plants & allied products purchases
- Labelling plants & creating tickets with plant family information
- Organising and placing price tickets to Merchandising framework
- Picking & packing plants and allied products for Eden stores, Gro stores, e-commerce,
- Looking after ticketing integrity (visible and effective)
- Ensuring infrastructure care, cleanliness, hygiene and WHS
- Contributing to the plant selection and offering
- Organising creative plant displays & customer demonstration of technique (such as workshop)
- Developing and coordinating horticulturist trainings
- Participating in events and talks
- Providing Plant Doctor and plant ID service
- Looking after demonstrations and garden centre tours,
- In collaboration with the VM, developing and implementing attractive plant display
- Looking after employee standards and care, including uniform, grooming, PPE (i.e., sunscreen)
- Contributing to the development of Newsletter, social media material (videos, pictures) and marketing (under the supervision of the Marketing team)
- Participating in stock-take

**Requirements and qualifications**:

- Excellent at following instructions and process-driven,
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
- Comfortable in team-player role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and projects at hand
- Customer-focused for positive customer experience and resolution
- Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
- Strict adherence to company philosophy/mission statement/sales goals
- Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite a must. Experience with scheduling, or similar software (preferred)

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
