Direct Focus Solutions (DFS) is an allied health practice providing disability and community supports and an extensive range of clinical therapies. We are currently seeking an individual with therapeutic support knowledge and experience to join our multidisciplinary team and provide in-person therapy assistance within the NSW Central West (including the Lithgow and Bathurst areas).

**About this Role**
Our therapy assistants form a key part of our multidisciplinary approach to supporting clients within the community, working in close collaboration with our clinical team members to provide quality individualised services. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to be part of a passionate and diverse team that strives to deliver positive outcomes through a strengths-based approach.
Therapy assistants at DFS will frequently deliver supports to clients in line with therapeutic requirements established by members of our clinical team (which includes psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and other allied health professionals.)Applicants will be fully supported within their role by receiving comprehensive training and supervision as required. Applicants will have the opportunity to work flexible shifts to support a diverse range of private clients and NDIS participants.
**Requirements**:
A **current driver’s license and reliable access to your own vehicle** are essential prerequisites for this position as this role will involve travelling to client homes and communities throughout the NSW Central West.
A therapy assistant must be able to work together as part of a team and successfully support a diverse range of clients to facilitate their supports and help them to participate in activities within their community. **Applicants should be able to facilitate clients’ social engagement and help build their daily living skills**. Strong communication skills, a highly motivated mindset, and have an enthusiasm for helping others is highly desirable.
Applicants must also **possess, or be willing to obtain, the following checks** prior to employment (support to receive these may be provided where necessary):
