**About the role**
We have multiple part-time positions available in Council’s Community Care aged and disability services team These permanent roles are based in community and accommodation settings in Moruya, Batemans Bay and surrounds.
Your main duties will include:
- Personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation and other practical support.
- Assisting people to participate in social and recreational activities connecting to community and friends.
- Assisting with shopping and appointments.
**Salary information**
Total remuneration for the role is in the range $35.33 to $38.37 gross per hour consisting of:
- $31.69 to $34.41 base salary
- $3.64 to $3.96 superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
- Additional allowances (First Aid, Sleepover, Travel and Vehicle) and weekend penalty rates apply.
- _A verified clearance as a result of the Working with Children Check._
- _A satisfactory outcome as a result of a National Criminal History Record Check._
- _A verified clearance as a result of a NDIS Screening Check._
- _Medical clearance to verify that you are safely able to undertake the duties of the position._

**About you**
- Minimum Cert III or equivalent Qualifications in Disability, Aged Care and/or Community Services and relevant experience.
- Current driver licence and comprehensively insured vehicle.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evening, weekends and sleepover shifts.
- Previous experience in delivering quality support to older people and/or people with a disability.
