Wood is recruiting for a Graduate Health & Safety Advisor to join a vibrant early careers cohort in our Brisbane office.

The objectives of this role are:

- Assist with HSE management plan actions involving employee awareness of risks and to reduce, avoid and protect employees from hazards in the workplace, including occupational illness or disease.
- Assists in the implementation of programs to maintain and improve the general health and safety of all employees

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

**Knowledge, skills and experience**:

- Demonstrate balance of industrial experience at relevant level and position
- Professional demeanour, interpersonal skills
- Able to demonstrate team working skills
- Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn
- Flexible with a can-do attitude
- Mobile and willing to spend time away from office location as and when operation requires

- Identifies the primary task in each team situation and maintains clear focus to achieve results
- Demonstrates sound, fact-based decision making, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and contractors to help achieve goals

Understand changing trends and developments, responds to client issues and organisational capabilities and to develop the optimal responses as directed by the HSE Manager
