**Job Duties**
- Registration of new claims with insurer; collation of relevant documents to support new claims; forwarding new claims to the work cover agent within relevant time frames and issuing letters and notifying injured workers of the status of the claim.
- Review and register Certificates of Capacity. Notify injured workers from age care and residential support worker (experienced occupational violence) and/or practitioners when a Certificate of Capacity is invalid.
- Working with insurer agent in Vic and Queensland
- Review, reconcile and notify the payroll team to process weekly compensation payments and other associated work cover entitlements in line with the company's pay cycle.
- Manage the work cover administration via the records management platforms.
- Communicate professional and technical advice relating to work cover administration to staff, peers, managers and providers using the appropriate medium addressing the needs of different audiences and different situations.
- Provision of input into the development, evaluation and implementation of the injury & Claims Management policy in Vic and Qld.
- Active participation in safety culture change initiatives and projects.
- Develop safety plans and strategies for all sites both new and existing.
- Manage and complete all accidents and incidents investigations
- Regular engagement with injured employees, line managers and workers' compensation service provision to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Using excel, MS teams, manual reporting
- Sound knowledge of Vic and Qld compensation act
- Experience in worker compensation claims and safety in Vic and Qld
- Some experience in OHS
- Sound stakeholder management skills
- Some exposure to health care, age care industry is favourable
