**About the Role**
The Field Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of our field operations and is responsible for planning and coordinating field work activities to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to safety protocols. This role involves managing a team of casual field technicians, overseeing job pack distribution, and maintaining a safe working environment. The Field Operations Coordinator will collaborate with the Field Maintenance Coordinator to improve operational efficiency and implement new technologies during the off-season. Additionally, this position involves monitoring productivity measures, conducting equipment and safety stocktakes, and providing administrative support to the field team. The Field Operations Coordinator will also liaise with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth onboarding of new staff and communicate updates on policies and procedures. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
As a Field Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of field activities, including but not limited to:
- Planning and scheduling field operations, ensuring timely execution and adherence to Field work timelines in VIC, SA, TAS.
- Coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure seamless completion of Field Work in VIC, SA, TAS
- Managing field personnel, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance.
- Tracking and reporting on field activities, including progress, challenges, and key metrics.
- Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies during field operations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during field activities.
**You will bring**
- Previous experience in coordinating operations or a similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize, problem solve and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to guide and support casual field staff & various stakeholders
- Some knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to OH&S standards and best in field operations
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
- An interest in Agriculture is favourable but not essential

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
