**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated **Turf Farm Manager** to oversee operations on our **300-acre agricultural property** located along the picturesque **Hawkesbury River in Richmond, NSW**. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in turf farming, pumps, irrigation systems, rural fencing, welding, and machinery operation. The farm boasts over **500 megalitres of water licences** to support a highly productive turf farming operation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Farm Operations**:

- Manage irrigation systems, including traveller systems and high-pressure pumps.
- Perform welding tasks and equipment maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
- Administer farm chemicals safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Oversee rural fencing assembly and repairs.
- **Turf Farming Management**:

- Manage turf production, including planting, fertilization, harvesting, and quality control.
- Operate farm machinery such as tractors, aerators, dethatchers, vacuums, and other greens-management equipment.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Provide accountability to supervisors and support the Farm Hand and Operations Manager in day-to-day operations.
- Direct and train staff on best practices in farm maintenance, safety, and productivity.
- **Sales and Customer Service**:

- Manage customer relationships and inquiries to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Assist with sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue.
- **Property Management**:

- Maintain the overall health and productivity of the farm, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Extensive experience in farming, with specific expertise in turf farming, irrigation systems, and pumps.
- Knowledge of rural fencing assembly and repair.
- Proficiency in operating farm machinery and specialised equipment (a Class HC truck driving licence is advantageous).
- Welding and mechanical repair skills.
- Experience with farm chemicals and a strong commitment to safety protocols.
- Solutions-focused, positive-thinking attitude, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
