Working closely with GM of Womenswear, the Junior Merchandise Planner will be responsible for the coordination of all merchandise related areas. You will be overseeing daily stock functions to ensure that correct stock levels are in stores & warehouse at all times to maximise sales.

**About The Role**:

- Work with GM Womenswear and Planning Manager to develop range plans that meet merchandise allocation requirements.
- Sales order management and planning for store locations - managing the phasing of deliveries and alignment with VM and marketing calendars.
- Management of replenishment, size control & out of stocks.
- Ensure stock levels are maintained by monitoring and replenishing stock levels in our warehouse and stores.
- Manage finishing margin of merchandise.
- Analyse stock on hand reporting to determine which items need to be consolidated in accordance with company policy, in conjunction with the Inventory & Planning Manager.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships and communication with customers.
- Demonstrate effective organisational & negational skills with customers and suppliers.

**Requirements For The Role**:

- Relevant tertiary or related qualifications are preferred. Finance, accounting or commerce degree desirable.
- 2-3 year's experience allocating within a retail environment.
- Highly developed analytical and practical skills and a quick study in new systems.
- Proficient to intermediate skills in Excel.
- Willingness to launch and streamline new and existing procedures and systems.
- Highly organised, detailed and focused approach to work and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, communication skills & the ability to liaise with key internal & external stakeholders.
