**The Position**:
As the HRBP you will form a critical part of the Pacific region HR team. As a HR generalist you will demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing specialist HR advice and support drawing on your experience in employee relations, project management and WHS. Key responsibilities:
Acting as the first point of contact for employees & managers for all people related matters
- Providing expert HR advice & guidance to people leaders in relation to complex people matters
- Managing & conducting formal performance management & investigations as required
- Lead the Workplace, Health and Safety initiatives across the Pacific region
- Maintains a positive employee working environment through regular engagement across the business
- Establishes key performance metrics, aligned with business objectives
- Works with the Human Resources Director, Pacific to identify projects which will support and improve HR functional activities
- Ensures HR policies and procedures are fairly and consistently applied and employment policies are up to date, to comply Australian Legislation
- Extensive experience of working as a HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
- Experience of advising business and functional leaders on a range of people matters (e.g. employee relations, performance management, talent management; change management)
- Experience of implementing new initiatives and rolling out new approaches to enhance the working environment
- Ideally have operated in a multisite HR role
- High level of energy and ability to work under pressure needed for a fast-paced environment
