This Category Assistant will support the Fishing and Marine portfolio. You will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations and will work closely with the Category Manager to ensure a seamless customer experience, from product selection to purchase. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about fishing and marine activities and wants to contribute to the success of a thriving retail business.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the selection and curation of products.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely product deliveries and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor and report on the performance of products within the category.
- Support the Category Manager in coordinating marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to category management.

**Qualifications**:

- Passion & experience in fishing and marine activities.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with retail operations and e-commerce platforms is a plus.
