**About the Role**

We are seeking a qualified full time Compensation and Benefits Specialist (Accountant General) who will be responsible, not limited to:

- Serve as the first level contact for compensation and benefit programs, processes, and policies for our retail operations, corporate and warehouse team
- Develop and implement compensation policies, guidelines, procedures, and programs
- Provide advice on offer proposal for new hires and promotions below the Director level, in partnership with the Head of P&C to ensure equity across the board
- Responsible for compensation surveys/benchmarking and analyzing results in order to assess competitive labour market trends, utilising mercer job evaluation and salary alignment
- Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommend changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and group objectives
- Work as the conduit between L’OCCITANE and the outsourced Payroll Officer
- Prepare monthly retail sales incentives and quarterly wholesale incentives, in line with company guidelines
- Audit data in our local HRIS (Employment Hero & Hero Pay) and global HRIS (Success Factors) to investigate and resolve issues as needed
- Prepare timely reporting on: monthly head count and turnover reports for local and APAC/Central team Conduct annual WGEA process and GPTW project
- Upload bi-annual product allowances for employees and be responsible for activating/deactivating employee discounts

**About you**:
The minimum requirements for the position are:

- 3-5 years in a similar role
- Good understanding of the General Retail Award and local labour laws
- Advanced PC skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Advanced analytic/quantitative skills
- Proficient in HRIS (Employment Hero experience an asset)
- Experience in integration activities and global C&B awareness is desirable - use of Mercer job evaluation process
- Strong experience with reporting and record keeping requirements.
- Highly confidential at all times, with the ability to deal with sensitive issues in a
- Strong accuracy with a high attention to detail.
- High resilience and ability to multi-task well under pressure.

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
