Vital State Government agency contract 3 month for Privacy Advisor

**Your new company**
This important position will see you working within a pivotal State Government Agency, based in Melbourne's North-East, offering flexible working.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the General Counsel and Project Manager you will assist with providing advice on a broad range of Privacy matters. You will be providing support to a Privacy Framework project, as well as, gap analysis, FOI, training and development and breach notification procedures and more.

You will also work alongside the legal team supporting with any privacy issues that arise and need advice, as well as monitoring the general privacy and freedom of information inbox.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful for this position you will need the following;
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the privacy legislation in Victoria.
- Proven ability in privacy impact assessments, breaches of privacy, and case management in relation to the aforementioned.
- Exceptional communication skills including drafting succinct reports and communicating with different levels of internal and external stakeholders
- High-level analytical ability and sound judgment
- Must be able to work independently and be confident in ability.
