**Job Title**: Barista Store Manager - Ice Cream & Coffee Shop

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Leadership and Team Management**
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of baristas and crew members.
- Create staff schedules, manage performance, and foster a positive work culture.
- Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards.
- Organize team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and initiatives.

**Operations Management**
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring the shop runs efficiently.
- Manage inventory for coffee, ice cream, and other supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Handle financial responsibilities, including cash handling, sales reporting, and budgeting.
- Monitor and achieve store performance metrics, such as sales targets and customer satisfaction scores.

**Customer Service Excellence**
- Ensure every customer has a memorable experience by maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Develop creative promotions and events to attract new and repeat customers.

**Barista & Ice Cream Crafting Skills**
- Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso-based beverages to company standards.
- Serve and create visually appealing ice cream treats, including sundaes and specialty items.
- Train staff on coffee brewing techniques, equipment maintenance, and ice cream preparation.
- Innovate and introduce new menu items, keeping up with industry trends.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Lead Barista.
- Strong barista skills, including espresso machine operation, latte art, and coffee brewing techniques.
- Familiarity with ice cream service, toppings, and dessert presentation is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management, cash handling, and sales reporting systems.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications in hospitality or management are a plus).
- 3+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with at least 1 year as Barista.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Barista: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Food handling: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
