**Female Disability Support Worker (Companion) - Western Sydney**

**Position**: Casual - Up to $43.23/hr + Penalties
**Location: Penrith, NSW**
**Expected Hours**: Up to 15 hours per week (3-5 hour shifts, 2-3 days per week)
**Age**:40-55 years Female

**About the Role**:
Envisioning Life Supports is seeking a **Female Companion/Disability Support Worker** to assist a **male client with community access and appointments**—**no personal care or medication required.**

We are looking for someone with a passion for the **1970s & 1980s**, a quirky sense of humour, and an energetic personality to engage in meaningful conversations and encourage new activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Support client in accessing the community and attending appointments
Encourage social interaction and participation in activities
Transport client safely to and from destinations
Provide companionship and motivation
Maintain clear documentation and follow behavior support plans

**What We’re Looking For**:
**Experience working with clients with mental health needs**
A cheerful, friendly, and engaging personality
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and follow care plans

**REQUIREMENTS - CHECKS/ CERTIFICATES**
- Cert III or Cert IV in Individual Support, Home & Community Care, Aged Care, Disability Care or higher or willing to work towards
- Current First aid and CPR qualification or willingness to obtain within three months
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- COVID-19 minimum 3 doses
- Infection control training completed
- Manual handling training completed
- NDIS Clearance Check
- Current and Valid Working with Children’s Check
- Current unrestricted and full driver's license
- Own a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
