Cam’Can is seeking the right people to support a middle aged female with an intellectual disability in her home in the Rockingham/ Mandurah area.

The right person will be respectful, engaging and have a great sense of humour. An enthusiastic and positive attitude is a must

The role will include some personal care, meal preparation and assisting in daily living activities. This position would be ideal for committed individuals who enjoy a challenge and would like to make a difference in people’s lives and can work within the community and a home environment.

Experience in personal care and working with people with challenging behaviours is highly regarded. Individualised training will be provided to successful applicants. Support times vary and times include Mornings, Afternoons, overnights and weekends. The role is shared between a small team.

A current Police Clearance and current driver’s licence is required. An NDIS worker clearance and the completion of the NDIS worker orientation module will be required prior to commencement of employment. Remuneration is between $33-70 an hour depending on day and time plus superannuation, all insurance covered and the opportunity to salary sacrifice.
