**Job Title**: Planning Manager

**Reports To**: Business Group Manager - Assets
**About the Role**:
Are you ready to lead the charge in optimising our operational performance and asset management? We are seeking a dynamic Planning Manager to take the reins of our planning processes and drive a culture of proactive maintenance and efficient supply chain management.
As the Planning Manager, you will be pivotal in setting our operations team up for success to run smoothly on budget, and on time. You'll spearhead the development and execution of our business planning processes, uniting various teams under one cohesive master plan. Your leadership will be key in transforming our maintenance approach from reactive to planned, ensuring predictable and reliable outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Lead Planning Initiatives**: Develop and manage the Sales & Operational Planning framework, ensuring a seamless and consistent process across all time horizons.
- **Drive Predictable Maintenance**: Deliver a well-structured, planned maintenance program aligned to our strategy that minimises downtime and maximizes operational efficiency.
- **Capital Planning & Forecasting**: Oversee the capital forecasting and planning process, ensuring that approvals are timely and aligned with business goals.
- **Optimise Workshop Operations**: Enhance workshop velocity and output quality by implementing planned, predictable turnaround schedules.
- **Enhance Supplier Strategies**: Collaborate with Supply Chain to guarantee quality service delivery that meets our standards and timelines.
- **Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with various departments to leverage insights, drive productivity improvements, and implement cost-effective solutions.

**Your Team**:
You will lead a dedicated team comprising a Tactical Planner, Long Term Planner, and Planning Analyst, working alongside Technical Services, Maintenance Managers and the Workshop to achieve our business objectives.
**What You Bring**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Asset Management, Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
- Proven management and leadership experience within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong background in planning within a capital-intensive industry, ideally in mining.
- Expertise in asset management and whole-of-life cycle costing.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
