The School of Health Sciences and Social Work is known for innovation and excellence in health education, research and clinical practice. We offer a range of health-focussed educational programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the Gold Coast, Nathan and Logan campuses. The Health Science/Allied Health disciplines represented in the School are Social Work, Human Services, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nutrition and Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Exercise Science, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Behaviour Analysis. Each discipline comprises a diverse academic staff profile with strong and productive programs of teaching and research, and a focus and commitment to developing capable and work-ready graduates.
The School has a strong research focus, with academic staff from diverse disciplinary backgrounds skilled in areas of domestic and family violence, child protection and well-being, mental health and disability, environmental justice, international and community practice, exercise and sport, and rehabilitation and a range of associated areas of interest.
**Job Description**:
We are currently recruiting for a level B Lecturer in Applied Behaviour Analysis with a strong commitment to evidence-based positive behaviour support, education, and research. Applied Behaviour Analysis at Griffith University adopts a contemporary view of the profession in the Australian context and enables students to become evidence-based and client centred in their implementation of applied behaviour analysis principles across a range of career options in current, emerging, and future settings and roles to enhance the well-being of individuals, families, and communities.
In addition to delivering high-quality entry-level education, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to build a research and publication profile in partnership with internal and external collaborators.
**Salary Range**
The base salary for Lecturer (Level B) is in the range $105,144 - $124,862 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total package is in the range $123,018 - $146,088 per annum.
**Qualifications**:
You will also possess a research doctorate in behaviour analysis or be committed to completing a research doctorate with the desire to be research active through the development of a growing publication and funding profile. You will have experience in teaching and/or research, preferably in the higher education sector.
