**About the role**:
The successful applicant will have the exciting opportunity to be become part of Joan Kirner Hospital Periop team.
- You will play an important role in the Periop space, you will be responsible for preparing theatre for procedures and setting up and maintaining equipment.
- Closely working with clinicians and nurses in a dynamic enviroment.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Providing quality patient centred care.
- Working closely with Clinicians, Nurses, Midwifes
- Handling and maintaining theatre equipment and impact overall theatre performance

**About you**:

- Cert III in Operating Theatre Techincian qualification or higher.
- Clear understanding and use of medical terminology.
- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent time management.
- Understanding of infection prevention and OH&S
- Knowledge of surgical theatre equipment and patient positioning.
