GHD’s **Sustainability team **has a strong and increasing workload and we are looking for a talented Consultant with an interest in Carbon Auditing to work alongside leaders in the field.

Our current project portfolio includes undertaking carbon audits for the Clean Energy Regulator and for a range of clients across government, industry and the private sector in Australia and internationally in collaboration with GHD colleagues across Australia.

**Your key roles and responsibilities will involve**:

- Completing technical project work, desk based and field work in carbon auditing and sustainability to a high standard, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Working across carbon compliance with a focus on auditing against reporting standards and frameworks such as Australia's ACCU Scheme, NGER, Safeguard Mechanism, CDP, GRI and Climate Active.
- Develop sustainability plans and strategies using BSC and other sustainability reporting tools
- Budget, plan, and coordinate projects.
- Build relationships with regulators and communicate approval timelines.
- Working across a broad range of market sectors, including infrastructure (such as airports, agriculture, road, rail, ports, pipelines and/or dams), forestry, utilities, renewables, oil and gas and mining.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- A degree in a relative discipline
- 2-7 years experience
- Technical knowledge and an established background in carbon audits and sustainability work
- Familiarity with Part 6 audits
- Availability to travel at short notice for audit field work and site visits
- Knowledge and experience in auditing forestry carbon and/or blue carbon highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a team player and dedication to deliver outstanding technical reports
