A service based in Beaconsfield Upper is looking for a passionate and organised Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 13.25 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance
This will be made up of 11.25 in-service hours Monday - Friday (Rise Them Shine program) plus 2 additional admin hours, plus the option for afternoon shifts.
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Experience working in OSHC Strong behavior management skills Excellent communication skills Future focus with the desire to become a member of this community long-term Team player with a desire to become a service leader Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children Australian work rights
