**Assistant Manager - Kip (Inner West suburbs)**

Kip Happy Stays have just secured their newest location in Sydney's inner west suburb, Newtown With two locations (Alexandria and Marrickville) already earning their spots across the inner west, we are now on the lookout for our next canine obsessed Assistant Manager to join our Sydney team.

As an Assistant Manager at Kip, you will be responsible for driving growth in the business, building the team and providing a high level of care to our canine guests. As a leader in our organisation, you will need to embody our core values of transparency, trust and care.

The role will be a full-time, permanent role. Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.45am-6.30pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Working in the day-to-day operations of our facility
- Liaising with customers, answer enquiries and manage bookings
- Ensuring high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service and attention to detail
- Lead, motivate and coach a high performing team
- Oversee facility when the Daycare Manager takes is not present
- Maintain social media page and field enquiries
- Regular assessment of the facility to ensure safety is priority
- Monthly Inventory management
- Responsible for acting and investigating any animal health concerns
- Assisting with the hiring process, including conducting interviews, trials and training new staff

Experience and Skills:

- Experience handling various temperaments of dogs
- Competent with computer systems
- Excellent communication skills and experience in customer service
- Passion for problem solving and high attention to detail
- A can-do attitude, initiative to get extra work done
- Quick learner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a cool head under pressure
- Having great time management, and commitment to deliver quality in work output

Key Requirements:

- Must have experience in leadership
- Paid experience working with dogs will be looked upon favourably
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to socialise dogs of all breeds
- Must be available Monday to Friday between 6.45am-6.30pm
- Available to attend a work trial shift (up to 3 hours unpaid) to determine if Kip is the right fit for you
- Certificate II in Animal Studies will be looked upon favourably
