Mount Hospital is seeking a dynamic leader to provide clinical direction and operational management to provide after-hours support for staff, our VMOs and ensure our clinical practice meets our professional service values._ _In this role you will be responsible for managing human and material resources, environmental safety, budgetary monitoring and patient flow to support the delivery of safe quality patient care by all nursing personnel. Duties include determining the hospital’s nursing staffing requirements and preparing staffing submissions, coordinating patient flow for patients._
- As the Patient Flow Manager you will:_
- _Coordinate patient admissions, staff and material resources to meet KPIs_
- _Be the emergency controller_
- _Authorise staff and maintenance contractor call-in_
- _Provide clinical support_
- _Lead the facility operations in conjunction with the senior leadership team._
- _Support and liaise with the respective Nurse Unit Manager(s) of wards and departments_
- _Ensure all areas are staffed appropriately and cost efficiently_
- _Coordinate patient admissions_

**_We are looking for individuals that can demonstrate:_**
- _Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent_
- _Current AHPRA Registration_
- _Post graduate qualification in Leadership and Management (or willingness to complete)_
- _Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior leadership role in a large acute hospital environment_
- _People leadership skills including mentorship and coaching of team members_
- _Advanced clinical competence and proven experience in clinical supervision_
- _Proven track record with the coordination and allocation of staff_
- _Demonstrated high level organisational skills_
- _Demonstrated problem-solving ability_
- _High degree of computer literacy_
- _Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills_
- _Passion for delivering quality patient-centred care_
- Applicants must be willing to be rostered and work all shift types and all days including weekends._
