Aluminium Metal Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Aluminium Metal Fabricator to join our team at GC Window Repairs' in Currumbin Waters, Queensland.

This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the fabrication and repair of a variety of aluminium products.

What you'll be doing:

- Fabricating and repairing aluminium windows, doors, screens and other aluminium products
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to manufacture custom aluminium items
- Operating a range of metalworking machinery and tools with a high level of skill and precision
- Collaborating with the wider team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing ideas to enhance efficiency

What we're looking for:

- Proven experience as an Aluminium Metal Fabricator or similar role in the Trades & Services industry
- Strong technical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings Proficient in the use of metalworking machinery and tools such as MIG welders, angle grinders, saws and presses
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and find solutions
- A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team
- A current driver's licence and your own reliable transportation

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
