**Position Information**:
Airds High School is a co-educational high school, in the Campbelltown Network of South West Sydney, operating under the Connected Communities Strategy. The school is committed to personal and academic achievement offering a broad academic and vocational curriculum, thus catering for students of all ability levels. The school enrolment is 522 students including; 146 Aboriginal students, 94 EAL/D students and 68 students in the Support Unit. The Support Unit caters for students with a range of intellectual disabilities including Mild and Moderate Disability, Multi-Category and Autism.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Approval to teach students with learning and support needs(secondary) and/or experience teaching students with learning and support needs(secondary)in regular classes.
- Capacity to provide specialist assistance to students in regular classes with additional learning and support needs and their teachers
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork, effective communication and building positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, external agencies, and the wider school community.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide specialist support for teachers to create and implement differentiated teaching programs for a diverse range of students, including Aboriginal and EALD students.
