Early Childhood Educator Diploma Qualified

Piccolo Early Learning Centre is an independent family orientated childcare centre which is in its 4th year of providing nurturing, high quality childcare provision to our loyal and caring families.

We are currently seeking to expand our team, looking for an Assistant Diploma Qualified Educator for our Nursery Room. The interest of the child is at our core and we strive to provide a caring play-based environment within which our children can flourish.

The successful applicant will be someone that is highly motivated, enjoys working as part of a team, have excellent communication skills, immaculate presentation and can demonstrate the ability to use initiative when required. Being innovative and passionate about implementing a play based child
- led curriculum is desired.

The Role:

- Care and supervision of children
- Actively contributing to a play based curriculum
- Motivating and guiding the team
- Engaging with children in their play
- Sharing stories of the children's day through the Xplor app
- Work as part of the team to maintain a clean and safe learning environment
- Tapping into children's interests to provide opportunities and activities to develop children's skills that reflect their needs and interests
